<div class="im">That would be a really handy option :) mouse mode is handy right now to restart myth if something goes wrong until I setup a irexec kill myth and start myth button.<br><br>If you could be bothered, I dont really use the imon pad remote, its been added to my harmony remote, which at times is rather sluggish to respond I need to spend sometime working out what the issue is, but I thank you very much for all the work you do on lirc, a year ago my imon remote and receiver/VFD weren't even supported due to changed usb id among other things :) now its plug and play.<br>

If you add 'nomouse=1' to the module options, it'll skip mouse mode.<br>
If you flip a bit in the driver at compile time, it'll start out in<br>
keyboard mode instead of mouse mode. I could probably be persuaded to<br>
add another modparam to let you pick which mode to start in if you<br>
wanted it in keyboard mode, but still wanted mouse mode available.<br>
