<br>I don't have an ION but I have the same video chip in an AMD system.. ie the MCP78/Geforce8200, for my 1080 stations I have my system configured to VDPAU Temporal 1x. with the Nvidia 260 drivers. i have no playback issues.. I only have a 24" monitor as a TV so I can't see any picture quality issues.. If you have a 50" screen you might..<br>
