</div>I would really recommend using a mirror; (in my view) primary sources<br>
should only be used for mirrors (just like NTP servers). Since<br>
upgrading with the PPA I have reverted back to the UK mirror as soon<br>
as it was working again.<br>

The load of all those computers pulling update information (and<br>
packages) is asking a lot of a single contributor of server hardware<br>
and resources (bandwidth).<br>
