Okay I am having a weird issue with my change channel scripts.
I have three turners and three Comcast DTA/100's connected via
IR cable from the MCEUSB blasters to the IR port on the back
of the DTA.<br>

Can you do that? I'm currently using an IR LED to blast from
my mceusb to my Comcast DTA. I noticed the IR input jack on
the DTA with great curiosity, and wondered about using a
3-conductor patch cable instead -- but I didn't know (or
investigate, candidly) whether the electrical signals are
compatible.<br>
<br>
This would be great news for me if it is confirmed workable.
Of course, then I might well share your issue... which I
suppose would be good for helping to solve it, at least, lol.
For me, the LED pathway is currently working flawlessly, but
I'd much rather use a direct cable.<br>

Thanks!<br>

Here is the cable, this is the one I used:
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://cgi.ebay.com/Universal-Comcast-DTA-Cable-Direct-Cable-/320549166126?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4aa2381c2e">http://cgi.ebay.com/Universal-Comcast-DTA-Cable-Direct-Cable-/320549166126?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4aa2381c2e</a><br>
<br>
Please note it is not a direct cable, it is similar to an optical
isolator. If your IR blaster bug is not working first then this
cable won't help.<br>
<br>
Also the cable is not the problem. I get the same thing with an IR
blaster
bug.
