</div>I run version 260 of the drivers, and noticed pretty bad tearing on HD<br>
recordings with fast motion (baseball playoffs) until I disabled the<br>
composite extension. However, I did the other things suggested on the<br>
wiki at the same time, so I'm not sure if one of the other things<br>
alone would have worked.<br>

<br></blockquote><div>FWIW, I was having the same problem (w/ trunk) and applied the suggestions one at a time. Only after disabling composite did the tearing disappear.<br>Using 9500GT with NVIDIA driver 256.44<br><br>
