i'm running myth 0.23.1 on debian based mepis.

until this week everything has been rock solid. however, this week i noticed a strange issue with volume during playback. when i start playing back a recorded show the volume is automatically increased, regardless of what i had the volume set to. for instance, i can set the volume to 42% but this will jump up to over 60% when playback begins.

also, when i try and use the arrow keys to fast forward or fast reverse through a recording the volume increases.

i checked the keybindings and the arrow keys are not listed in any of the volume control entries. i also checked my system's keyboard settings and the arrow keys are not assigned to any volume control. if it matters, i have a logitech s520 wireless keyboard

the only change i've made was that i no longer run artsd, and i stopped that because i was running into issues with the sound system croaking - seemed to happen if i had forgotten to close the mythfrontend and left it running idle for a long time.

if there is a way to nuke the keybindings and simply reset to the default, i'm ok with that - haven't made any changes that i care about.
