Do you have autobuilds for 0.23-fixes enabled? The compatibility
depends on your installed version:
0.23-fixes r24521 = 0.23 release
0.23-fixes r25397 = 0.23.1 release

Anything above r25397 in the 0.23-fixes branch, should be compatible
with 0.23.1.

I have branches/release-0-23-fixes [24158] but I haven't run an update in a while. I'll update and see what version I end up with, and if it's 25397 or higher I'll try updating the Dell to Maverick.
