(Motorola VIP 1929) when my old one died, and I am having aspect ratio

(One setting, two choises) and none makes any difference. <o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>

fine.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal><SPAN lang=EN-US>16:9 gets compressed into 4:3. (But, when
connected straight to the TV, everything works nicely)<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>

<P class=MsoNormal><SPAN lang=EN-US>So, what I would LIKE to do as a remedy is
have a H-stretch that does NOT increase V-size at all. Is that

possibility the unit's video resolution doesn't go up to 1360x768? If you
see 1152x864 or 1024x768 these are 4:3 resolutions. (I had a
problem with my TV's VGA input only going up to 1024x768 -- would put the 16:9
picture within the 4:3 space, so had the black bars on the left and right plus
the top and bottom!)</FONT></SPAN></P>
