Looks like the hd upnp playback problem I have is the same as the one filed in Trac ticket 8477.<div><br></div><div>I installed 0.23.1 last night and to my surprise this does not include the fix for 8477. The fix is trivial and local and would have fixed a upnp blocker issue. What is the process to decide on fixes to go into a release?</div>

There doesn't seem to be a lot of activity on these upnp problems. Are people not using mythtv with upnp? What is the best way to get a solution?<div><br></div><div>The PS3 used to be a very good frontend. Today, it is useless with HD content streamed from mythtv backend over upnp.</div>

I have asked people to send details to me already for UPnP clients, and have seen very little (but some, thank you!) response.</div>
<div><br></div><div>If you want something fixed in UPnP support, you need to create a ticket. Check if one exists for the problem already (open or closed). But please don't expect us to cherry pick bug reports from this mailing list, there's just too much traffic here for that to be practical.</div>
