Hello all<br><br>im using mythtv 0.23 and have <font color="black" face="Verdana,Arial,Helvetica" size="2"><font color="black" face="Verdana,Arial,Helvetica" size="2"> mythtv 
automatically adjust the refresh <br>rate of the TV to match the video 
being played as per instructions from JYA recently.<br><br>This works 
well @1920x1080i switching between 50hz and 60hz in PAL land for 
freeview, freesat and backed up content.<br><br>My Budget TV max 
resolution is 1920x1080i and native resolution 1920x1080i at 60hz.<br>
<br>1920x1080i at 60hz desktop/gui flickers too much but the fonts look 
normal.  At 50hz the fonts both outside of myth and in myth looks 
squashed up but the flicker is hardly noticeable.  <br><br>I notice in 
myth the GUI stays at the refresh rate of the last media played and exit
 from whether that be a recording, live Tv, content from mythvideo.  Is 
there any way to change this so the gui stays at a prefered refresh rate
 but the same resolution.<br>
<br>The other alternative is to have mythtv gui at 1280x720 and content 
played at 1920x1080i.  Tried this but myth gui just sits in top left of 
the screen without the of the screen being used.<br><br>Thanks for your
