</div></div>The PVR can still be used to record the (SD) output of an STB. The only way to get encrypted HD channels right now is an HD-PVR, but your PVR-500 can be used to record the downscaled SD output of the STB.<br>

I do this with the SD output of a DISH receiver, as I have only one HD-PVR, and some programs gain nothing from the additional resolution of HD (like news shows).<br></blockquote><div><br>Makes sense to me. Anything special I need to do with mythfilldatabase when this lineup change occurs?<br>
