I have a PVR-350 and recently unplugged its native IR receiver. replacing it with a Philips mceusb receiver.  After simply rebuilding lirc with the &quot;mceusb&quot; device flag, I was astonished to discover that lirc responded to the Hauppauge remote just as before, without any reconfiguration.<br>
