<div>My Comcast DCH3200 STB works intermittently as a firewire tuner for a ASUS P1-AH2 running 0.22.</div>

<div>To get it to work consistently I must do the following:</div>
<ol>
<li>Go to &quot;Watch TV&quot;</li>
<li>Wait for L__ (partial lock) will appear</li>
<li>In an SSH session on the backend, execute these two commands one or more times in quick succession (I use a script, executed manually):</li>
<ol>
<li>plugctl -n 0 &quot;oPCR[0].n_p2p_connections=0&quot;</li>
<li>plugctl -n 0 &quot;oPCR[0].n_p2p_connections=1&quot;</li></ol>
<li>LAM (locked) will appear</li>
<li>50% of the time live tv will be displayed and run normally.  Otherwise I get &quot;Error opening jump program file buffer&quot; and am booted back to the main menu.  I simply try again until it works.</li></ol>

<div>I have assigned the p2p commands above to a button on my remote, which I must mash to get LAM (locked) to appear.</div>

<div>Is there a better way to get my setup working?</div>

<div>PS - in order for scheduled programs to be successfully recorded I must execute the p2p commands after myth has begun to record.</div>
