Hi,

I use x86_64 0.22 from Karmic / JYA with a HD-PVR and most things work great. I haven't had any of the issues of the HD-PVR cutting out that other users have been suffering.

One thing does bother me though. If I upgrade anything, or reboot, or power-ctcle my HD-PVR, it doesn't initialize properly.

I have learned the following trick to get it working:

1. Power off the HD-PVR

2. rmmod hdpvr

3. stop the mythtv-backend process

4. power on the HD-PVR

unit now hangs with the blue and yellow lights on and can't be used

5. power off the HD-PVR

6. Power on again

unit now initializes properly

7. start the backend process

Has anyone else experienced this, and does anyone know what might be causing it/how to avoid it.

I do loose the occasional show because the unit isn't correctly initialized

Cheers!
