Thanks Mike for your help. You were correct about the Input connections being incorrect. I deleted the channel I had created (channel scan just refused to run earlier), and then deleted the Video Source and started again.<br>
<br>I ran the channel scan, and it found channel 2 (which doesn't exist in reality... oh well) and it stopped at channel 3. I opened up the frontend and it tuned to static on channel 2! Unfortunately, it stays that way when I try to type in the channel number. I can't get it to tune to channel 4 properly if I manually create it (using the same settings that channel 2 was created with). It will crash with an error.<br>
<br>The status of the channel scan stays at "Scanning us-bcast 2 No Lock" and just stays there. Signal Strength and Scan are both at 0%. I just searched a bit and I can't find anything at all. I just need channel 4 to work so that I can tune into my DirecTV R-15 receiver. I will be setting up another box later using S-Video, but I need this input to work too for occasional recording from this box from across the house.<br>

Preset tuner to channel<br>
Leave this blank unless you have an external tuner that is connected to<br>
the tuner input of your card. If so, you will need to specify the preset<br>
channel for the signal (normally 3 or 4).<br>
<br>
When you should have just paid attention to the first three words of the<br>
description.<br>
<br>
If you're using S-Video or Composite, you /must/ leave the setting blank.<br>
<br>
If you are trying to use the tuner with a STB that outputs on channel 4,<br>
you either need to properly set the "Starting Channel" for the video<br>
source or you have an input connections configuration problem (see<br>
