I can tell you what bit me. The LIRC device changed from /dev/lircd to /var/run/lirc/lircd (Change it under Setup->General. It is one of the last pages under there.) Changing that and restarting mythfrontend corrected the remote for me.<br>

</div>You could start by providing some fairly relevant information, such as what IR receiver and remote you're using... :)<br>
<br>
(offhand, it sounds like perhaps your receiver is now being driven as an input device, but you didn't provide enough info for me to make any definitive analysis)<br>
