I have the exact same setup... HDPVR with VIP211k...<br><br>I'm also stuck on controlling the VIP211k with an IR blaster...<br><br>What is the easiest Blaster to use with Mythtv?<br><br>I do have a USB-UIRT, besides the built in changer in the HDPVR.<br>
<br>I also have a actisys IR200L.<br><br>Everything is setup up and running fine with my two sets of HD Home Runs.. These units work very easily. The HDPVR is also running, we just can't change the channels yet.<br>
<br>Anyone have a good link with instructions for Mythtv IR ?<br><br>I do have some good sets of instructions for the Snapstream Firely along with using different channel ID's (using multiple firefly's).<br><br>Let me know if anyone needs those links...<br>

I took the opportunity of 0.22 coming out to upgrade the hard drive of<br>
my mythbox, so I fresh installed Fedora 12 and went to town. The<br>
problem is, I can't seem to get the IR Blaster to control the STB.<br>

lirc_zilog loads fine, and I can get the blaster to flash with certain<br>
raw codes. However, any code set that looks like it's supposed to work<br>
with this box, gives me errors in /var/log/messages like "failed to get<br>
data for code 0, key 400 -- check lircd.conf entries".<br>

I also tried to use send_power_new from blushingpenguins to see if I<br>
could find *any* codes that would work, but a large number of them give<br>
an error of "must be a valid (lirc_t) number". A quick run of sed<br>
strips the offending lines, but the remaining codes won't control the<br>
box.<br>

Any other information that would be useful, just let me know and I'll<br>
dig it out.<br>
