I checked out the myhttv-fixedsversion Revision: 22910 and build it with symbols, but now the frontend has been running for 3 hours, i wonder if that was all that was needed, this version is never than the one prebuild one that came with mythbuntu.<br>

i have two frontends that both crash to desktop, after a minutes of waching live tv, i have not seen the problem while watching recordings. Or using XBMC to watch other mediafiles. The crashes happen, im not changing channels or anything, it just drops to the desktop, the myth log file is not very talkative.<br>

one of the frontends is an asrock 330, im using the nvidia 190 drivers<br>
the other frontend an older sempron with a Nvidia 9400 graphics card.<br>

Feel free to update the Ubuntu section to including specifics (i.e. what repos to add, how to add them, what command to run to install the symbols--and, potentially, what command to run to uninstall them).<br>
