The only downside I see to it is that it's a full ATX board, so you need a pretty good size case. If you're OK with that as a FE box, then go for it. Most people seem to want smaller boxes near the TV. As a dedicated BE, no problem, you can put those in another room or whatever. Keep in mind that a bunch of tuner cards and HDDs are going to make heat, that means you need fans to get that heat out of the case. Careful selection of fans can keep the noise level down. Again, it matters more for a FE box than for a BE only box. <br>
