I can't imagine that it makes a difference, but mythbuntu normally has<br>
permissions of 775. Failing that, and that you're sure your channel<br>
changing and video capture devices work properly under 9.10 / 2.6.31<br>
(via mplayer or vlc or whatever), all I can suggest is --verbose logs.<br>

</div></div></blockquote></div><br>Silly me...got stuck in a rut of thinking and didnt check the obvious. I issued dmesg and say it Ubuntu was trying to load the firmware but it was failing. I thought Mythbuntu would have come with the firmware for my Air2PC card.<br>
