Just food for thought, but if you are only doing SD to an SD screen
(~640-720x480), why bother with scaling up to 800x600 only to have the
resulting output shown at (~640-720x480)? Why not just use 640x480
natively all the way through from source to destination and avoid the
unnecessary scaling up and down.

I too have noticed the 15% constant cpu usage, and that is on a core 2
duo 1.8ghz and my laptop which is pentium M 1.5ghz...both show 14-15%
constantly when sitting at the main menu.<br>

Add me to the list. Something is definitely wrong here.<br>
