Thanks Mike for the response, I really appreciate it, <br>that ticket sounds like exactly like the problem I'm experiencing...<br><br>I have mythtv set to alsa. the pcm volume keeps going all the way down when<br>I exit it.. when looking at the mixer in gnome it appears to be just the pcm going down..<br>
The volume in myth i can be turned all the way up and there ends up no sound when<br>restarting.. requiring me to completely log out and back in again.. I don't know it might<br>be the pulse audio messing with it.. <br>
