You want the same voltage as the original. More current capacity than the<br>
original is OK, but more voltage is NOT.<br>
<br>
Unless, of course, you are familiar with the unit's design, and know for a<br>
fact that it can accept a higher voltage, because it has onboard voltage<br>
regulation.<br>
<br>
But I would find a 5 volt unit, since that's what you know will work.<br>
