<br>I tried NUM_VDPAU_BUFFERS=40 and no difference.<br><br>I may have been a bit hasty in saying that the jerking is in right sequence - when I play the exact same clip, it still jerking forward and backward abit - I think its different after the patch, but its hard to see with all the jerking.<br>

Thanks for testing. So it sounds like the patch corrected the ordering issue but it is still choppy? I'm wondering if you have more than one issue here. It would help if you could cut the first 50MB of the video and post to <a href="http://www.filebin.ca" target="_blank">www.filebin.ca</a> so myself and others can do more to debug the problem. You can run the following to generate the 50MB sample:
dd if=inputfile.mpg of=inputfile_sample.mpg bs=1024 count=50000
