John - according to your link it says everything in my area is in 8vsb.. and my cable is unencrypted so I assume that means QAM for the locals?<br><br>I currently have an HD3000, but I think that is only good for QAM.8vsb unencrypted if I remember correctly... the HD5000 basically does the same.<br>
