some of them can get close to $50US.<br>

I think Newark has a minimum order size though, unless you have an account<br>

Ball bearing fans are generally better than sleeve bearing units, as was<br>
mentioned here. Cables Unlimited sells some BB units, I picked up a<br>
40x40x10mm unit to replace the fan in my Myka (p/n 3420BB) for $8.<br>

They build both case fans, optimised for flow, and CPU cooling fans, optimised for overcoming static pressure.<br>
