I&#39;ve added a new QAM tuner to my mythbox. I&#39;ve been using an Avermedia A180 and wanted to add a second card so I could watch something else while recording (or record two shows at once). So I picked up a Hauppauge HVR-1250. I popped it in and set it up in mythtv-setup. The device numbers changed but that wasn&#39;t a big deal. I don&#39;t really care whether myth prefers to use one over the other, so long as it works.<br>

<br>In the past I had been using myth&#39;s multi-rec capabilities to do some pseudo-recording of two channels at once. I want to keep that set up but still have both tuners. What happens when I watch Live TV is that if a recording is going on on DVB0, and I try to change to another channel, it appears that myth is trying to use the virtual tuner for DVB0 instead of DVB1 and can only watch channels that are on the same multiplex.<br>

<br>What I would like, is for myth to recognize that DVB0 is in use and can&#39;t tune the requested channel, and try to use DVB1 instead (assuming it&#39;s available). So the way I have it set up is this:<br>DVB0-Max number of recordings: 2<br>

DVB1-Max number of recordings: 2<br><br>Input Connections:<br>DVB0-Comcast Digital<br>DVB1-Comcast Digital<br><br>Should I try deleting all my tuners and adding them again? Or is there some other configuration change that I can make? If I set the max number of recordings to 1, I get the desired behavior.<br clear="all">
