I had the same issue, You need to set up correctly the audio input device:<br><br>I recommend you to load the snd modules for oss for you card, and then to set up /dev/dspX as your audio input device.<br><br><div class="gmail_quote">

mythtv-setup, Input Connections, then for /each/ defined input, modify Starting Channel. Note, though, that since the value stored in the DB is, "'Please add" (the truncated to fit in the column version of "Please add channels to this source"), you'll likely need to, er, add channels to the source.<br>
