</div> The non-vdpau decoder can't keep up. I have seen this with high bitrate<br>
DVD MPEG2 and with aggressively transcoded SD h264 content. It stutters, stops<br>
and drops frames.<br>
</blockquote><div><br>I have only used the ION to plaly back 720p/1080i recordings from my HDHR off of clear QAM Comcast. For such recordings, the ION is fantastic. I haven't tried anything more stressful.<br><br>
