Comcast in my area (01752) is implementing the switchover that will remove most analog broadcasts next week. <br><br>Comcast has provided Digital Transport Adapters to support TV's that don't have a full up STB. Does anyone know if these DTA's decrypt as well as decode the QAM signal? If they do not decrypt, that would imply that the extended cable Comcast is supporting with the DTA will be in clear QAM.<br>
<br><br>As it happens, this transition coincides with the demise of my PVR-350. It seems that my PVR-350 is no longer recording the audio, just the video. I consider this a feature for some of the stuff my kids have recording, but they think otherwise. The PVR-150 still works fine.<br>
<br>I am deciding how to replace the PVR-350 (I only use it for recording, not playback).<br><br>
