Hi all<br><br>I am about to purchase a remote to my Ubuntu HTPC. I was given one of these remotes and the HP branded receiver from a friend of mine who had a MCE computer given to him, but he never used the MCE features. They both work fine on a Fedora 8 system using the MCEUSB2 configuration. <br>
<br> I'm not 100% sure that receiver is the same as mine, but I'm pretty sure it is. ;-) <br><br> After using this remote, I bought a couple more on eBay as 'spares'. I actually like a 'genuine' Microsoft MCE remote better as most of the keys are back-lit, whereas they are not on this remote.<br>
