There is a lot of bluetooth to serial adaptors out there (the company i've used is SENA tech).. some even provide 5v on pin 9 which could then be used to create a homebrew(serial) bluetooth remote..<br><br>these do cost around $200 australian though..<br>

well if it was bluetooth or RF it wouldn't be universal, it would only work with bluetooth or RF devices.<br>
I have the Logitech dinovo mini bluetooth keyboard and it works great with my boxes (yes I can just plug it in to whichever one I want) because it is just a multimedia keyboard not a remote. It is much simpler than a remote because there is no screwing around with Lirc.<br>
Best birthday present I ever (asked for and) got ;-)<br>
