My /proc/asound/version gives 1.0.18a. You said that was broken, then<br>
someone else said it works for them. I guess there are at least some<br>
situations where 1.0.18a works, and I managed to find one of those<br>
working configurations.<br>

</div></div></blockquote></div><br>I think earlier in the thread there was mention of the settings in BIOS. I had to set mine to Internal codec for the HDMI sound on my M3N78-VM motherboard to work.<br>
