I would like to create a custom recording rule that will record every premier show (and only premier shows) on a certain channel. Is this possible? With the new season fast approaching and most commercials flagged out I want to make sure I catch the new series. Also, is it possible to create a series of exclusions to the rule just in case I need to block a certain show. As usual google returned too much info so I am turning to the experts.
TIA,

What I have done in the past is to create a custom word search with the word "Pilot". In the US, almost all of the new series carry this word in their description. Once a week or so, I run the search and select the shows I wish to preview and cull out those shows/movies that talk about airplanes . It's not automatic, but it does work well.
