I am facing a problem lately with mythtv trunk 0.22, and I reported it as a bug, too.<BR>
The following is more or less the bug report...<BR>
Is anyone facing the same problem?<BR>

I am using VDPAU but not for these resolutios, if it makes any difference.<BR>
Apparently, any wide screen films that don't have a 16/9 aspect ratio are shown stretched vertically (long faces...:) and the edges of the film are missing (like a bad zoom effect)<BR>

The mediainfo program in openSuSE reports that they have e.g. <BR>
720x432 (2.407 aspect ratio) <BR>
720x416 (2.450) <BR>
720x432 (2.35) <BR>
to name just three of them. <BR>

<BR>
Xine plays them with the correct ratio fullscreen. <BR>
This happens on both a Debian and an openSuSE 11.1 frontends. I am including the output from mythfrontend --version on both systems as well as the mediainfo report on one of them. Anything else I should include? <BR>
