Hi,<br><br>I ripped a DVD using perfect settings tocreatea single VOB file. upon opening the file in any program I have tried (MythVideo, MPlayer, VLC) the length is reported as 58:26long rather than over 2:00:00 that it actually is (VLC will play the file to the end, or transcode it). However when mythvideo gets to 58:26 playback starts stuttering on my low-power system (Via SP13000) which runs near 100% during dvd playback.<br>

<br>When transcoded to H264 it plays (with a few stutters at even before the appropriate position (58:26).<br><br>
I have also completed an ISO rip of the same disc which plays fine.<br><br>I will next try a MPEG2 transcode; hopefully I can work out if VLC will do a non-frame-recoding transcode (container change), any ideas?<br><br>has anyone else seen this sort of thing?<br>
