<DIV>How did you test it? Did you call Phillips? Did you try and play a DVD? In other words, did you verify it without you computer or myth?</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>Certainly seems strange. I forget, does the TV have a spdif input? If so, will that play AC3?</DIV>

<DIV>I tested with a second front end, I just build a front end using an ION ITX board, same result when I send AC3 on the HDMI to the television. I know not conclusive, still using Myth and still possibly a setup issue on my part.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I don't have any other HDMI output capable devices (just 2 x Myth Frontends). So can't really test with a DVD independant of the computer.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>The Phillips TV does not have a SPDIF input.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I have a new TV coming in a week, I'll test the output of my Myth box with the new TV, if AC3 over HDMI works there I can put it down to the Phillips not handling the AC3 stream.</DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV></BLOCKQUOTE></div><br>
