Hello,<br><br>Hopefully my subject has brought in all SA8300HDC/HD users. <br><br>Here is the issue.  <br><br>With my STB I am unable to record via the firewire port.  test-mpeg2 works 100%.  I have raised this tkt on trac: <a href="http://svn.mythtv.com/trac/ticket/6635">http://svn.mythtv.com/trac/ticket/6635</a>.  I have also found this tkt for Mythbuntu raised by a different user: <a href="https://bugs.launchpad.net/mythbuntu/+bug/363237">https://bugs.launchpad.net/mythbuntu/+bug/363237</a><br>
<br>So, am I/we correct in thinking there is something bug in the code causing FW not work?  Both Marten and I are using Mythbuntu.  Is anyone successfully recording from this model STB via FW with a diff distribution?  Maybe it is Ubuntu specific.<br>
