Hi

I'd like to achieve simultaneous composite and component video output from a HD server box, HD component for a local CRT HD monitor
and composite video out for a distribution system, so the content can be simultaneously broadcast to multiple TV's via a stereo RF
modulator. (Why? Because I like to watch something while moving and living in multiple rooms!)

I plan to use an 8500GT Video card, as best I can tell this can only do one or the other, but not both component and composite
output.

I am considering adding a second video card, necessarily PCI, perhaps 5200, 6 or 7 series card depending on what I can find. Maybe
even a new 8400?

Has anyone done anything like this and will it work attempting to coordinate two video cards with the same content, one (sometimes
downscaled) from the other?

An alternative (much more expensive) option would be to use a AV receiver that takes a composite downscale from the component
signal - and distribute that. The former seems more sensible and I think would probably give a better pocket experience as well as
a quality video signal.

Any comments and experiences welcomed!

Kind regards
David
