If you used x264, there should be an identifier block at the beginning
of the raw stream. It should still show up near the beginning of the
matroska file. Open the file with 'less' and look for something like
"x264 - core 58 - H.264/MPEG-4 AVC codec - Copyleft 2003-2008 -
<A HREF="http://www.videolan.org/x264.html">http://www.videolan.org/x264.html</A>", followed by a bunch of variables.
