</div>Much lower CPU usage, much faster at handling big files, virtually<br>
unlimited size recordings (with the default 1kB block, ext3 has a<br>
limit of 16GB, I've had recordings well in excess of that size)<br>

You can grow the FS without even unmounting the disk...<br>

I am thinking I'll just plug in the external 1TB and move all over to it (leave it to an overnight mv *), and then switch over to JFS. I do recall reading something about XFS being dangerous if your box goes off in a power outage or something similar, I'm curious if that applies to JFS as well?<br>
<br>Also, with a few smaller files (and the many .png preview thumbnails) that will be in the recordings dir, do you find any issues with those (seeing as JFS is champ for large files)??<br><br>Thanks<br>Bob<br>
