It also keeps the last 5 most recent backups, ongoing.<br></blockquote><blockquote type="cite"><br></blockquote><br>Along with that backup script it is good to be aware of the info in<br>the docs about creating the initial database:<br><a href="http://www.mythtv.org/docs/mythtv-HOWTO-6.html#ss6.2">http://www.mythtv.org/docs/mythtv-HOWTO-6.html#ss6.2</a>. You may need to<br>create the database before you can restore the old one. In fact<br>mythbuntu will will set up one by default so you may need to drop<br>mythconverg first, then create and empty database, then restore the<br>old one. If it is a just a display issue you may want to look at your<br>drivers. If you are using an nvidia card, try reinstalling nvidia-glx<br>and try running nvidia-xconfig.
