I searched the archives and wiki and found info about how to customize
menus. However these were generally focused on customizing an existing
theme like DVR that is in the /usr/share/mythtv/themes directory. I can
just duplicate those folders and make the changes I want. However, I
use and am accustomed to the default menu theme which seems to reside
in /usr/share/mythtv along with lots of other mythtv files. I just
wanted to add a couple of buttons so I initially just backed up the one
xml file I was changing and then made the changes in place. However,
when I upgrade these changes get written over. If I want to make a
custom menu based off of the default menu, what files do I need to copy
out of the /usr/share/mythtv directory? Is it all of the xml files
there, because there are quite a few? Alternately, since I am only
changing a couple of entries in one of the menus is there someway for
me to just change the default menu and have these changes remain
persistant through upgrades?
