but if i try to play my recorded file, it wont open. <br>

am i missing something that i need to play this file type? i'm using ubuntu 8.04, do i need something from the repositories?<br>

<br></blockquote></div><br><div>Look into your audio setting (Setup/General). I was having similar issues so I disabled audio (broke it so no sound came out) till I got playback working. Now I'm tweaking audio to get it working. Audio seems to be my issue currently.</div>
