<div>Thanks Kirk!</div><div><br></div>I was more interested in the digital signal since it's closer to an all-or-nothing with tuning a channel. If I use my capture card and scan I'll pick up about half the channels. Unplugging a splitter (with 2 devices attached and thus boosting the signal strength) and rescanning will pick up the remaining channels. I live in a city so signal strength is always an issue... not sure what to do about it until the cable guys can come in with a booster, etc. <br>

</div></div>I've found the opposite with my old PVR-500. It has problems if the signal is<br>
*too* strong. Right now I've got two 10db attenuators on it and I still get<br>
noise on some channels.<br>
