I had this happen when I upgraded from 7.10 to 8.04. In 8.04 and 8.10 they
changed how the optical drives were named. I can't remember sitting here at
work but it's something like /dev/sdb or something. Just go into setup and
change the device name for the DVD player and that may fix it.<br>
