Just to bring people up to date on where HD-PVR support stands, no patching is necessary for basic setup and functionality in trunk.&nbsp; There is one patch that is advisable (<a href="http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/5866">http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/5866</a>) but it is not required.&nbsp; HD-PVR support should also be automatically enabled and shouldn&#39;t *usually* need --enable-hdpvr (although it doesn&#39;t hurt to do so explicitly).&nbsp; Setting up the card as MPEG-2 card type is no longer required (and is in fact, wrong).&nbsp; The wiki is correct, let&#39;s check versions and if necessary try with an --enable-hdpvr.<br>
