<div>I've got a road-trip coming up (for Thanksgiving) and was looking for an in-car solution to keep my toddler entertained while we drive 16 hours each-way to my mother-in law's house.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I'm looking for something that</div>
<div>- can accept transcoded Myth files (in any format that makes sense h.264, xvid, etc)</div>
<div>- has a decent battery life</div>
<div>- can be mounted on a headrest</div>
<div>- has a car charger option</div>
<div>- at least a 7" screen</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I've seen portable DVD players - but I'm looking to use Myth content, and don't want to burn DVDs, or devices that have small screens (like iPod touches, etc). The closest I've found is the Archos 705 ( <a href="http://reviews.cnet.com/portable-video-players-pvps/archos-705-wifi-80gb/4505-6499_7-32740055.html">http://reviews.cnet.com/portable-video-players-pvps/archos-705-wifi-80gb/4505-6499_7-32740055.html</a> ), but it looks pretty heavy, doesn't play mpeg2 or h.264 without an additional codec being bought, and seems to have a lot of functionality (web browser, wi-fi) that I won't need. And price-wise, I'm approaching a low-end laptop!</div>
<div> </div>
<div>So - for others that use myth recorded content to amuse their little ones in their cars - what do you use?</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Thanks,<br>Nick</div>
