Hi all,<br><br>I&#39;ve recently made a fresh install of mythbuntu 8.10, on a machine with a dvico dual digital 4 card. When I try to engage the second tuner of the card, it can&#39;t lock (giving the message &#39;You should have gotten a channel lock by now&quot;). The first tuner works fine. I can successfully use both tuners at the same time outside of myth (one in vlc, one in mplayer). The settings for both tuners are the same in the database (as far as I can tell). In my investigations, I tried running tzap on the second tuner, to tune to some channel (while the BE was off), which acquired a lock quite fast. Then I restarted the BE, and I could use both tuners without problems. <br>
<br>As an interim solution I&#39;m going to use tzap to tune something before the backend starts, but does anyone have any thoughts about what might be the underlying problem? <br><br>vik<br>
