I have a frontend in the livingroom - to that I want to mount the
I don't recall the exact steps either as it has been awhile, but you should be able to get it to work with some googling on VLC and streaming. The basic idea is that you insert a DVD into one of your frontends and run VLC from there, telling it to play the DVD and stream the video. Then, on the frontend where you want to watch, you run VLC and tell it to connect to and play the stream from the frontend that is playing the DVD. You could add a menu item on each frontend to start vlc and connect to any available stream from your frontend with the DVD drive.

Sorry for the lack of detail here, but it's been so long since I've done this that I don't really remember the specifics - just that it did, indeed, work. Figured I'd at least give you another option to look in to.

Hope that helps,
Brad
